Mr. Suchart Sinrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce

Mr. Suchart Sinrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce disclosed at the opening ceremony of Bangkok Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning 2019 (Bangkok RHVAC 2019) and Bangkok Electric and Electronics 2019 (Bangkok E&E 2019) that last year, Thailand’s export of refrigerating and air-conditioning products as well as  electrical appliances accounted for 24,312 million US dollars, a 3.61% increase and export of electronic products and parts was 38,370 million US dollars, increasing by 4.45%. This favorable trend is driven by the fact that Thailand is a significant manufacturing base of environment friendly products with international standard quality.

Today, Thailand becomes the world’s number one hard disk drive manufacturer, the second top air conditioner manufacturer, and the fourth top refrigerator manufacturer. Many popular brands choose to manufacture their products in Thailand as they’re well aware of its strength — that is the fully integrated supply chain from the upstream to downstream.
